That's why we have chosen the habitat Hermanus. Far away from the Cape Town International Airport, yet central enough for many day trips to the colorful city of Cape Town with its majestic Table Mountain and to the famous wine regions, Hermanus is located at the beginning of the Garden Route and is primarily known for his good Whale Watching. But also the golf enthusiasts are coming here to their costs. Hermanus at the kick off to the Garden Route offers already 2 top golf courses: the 27 hole Hermanus Golf Course and the Arabella Country Estate.
And along the Garden Route, you can choose among 15 world class golf courses, for example, Simola in Knysna and Pezula, in George the places of the famous resorts Fancourt, George Golf Course and Kingwood are waiting to be played by you. However, Pinnacle Point and Oubaai (Ernie Els designed) should not go unmentioned.
Nowhere else you can combine a golf vacation better with a safari than in this area. Whether wine tasting at the Route 62, visiting an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn or a boat trip in Plettenberg Bay - there are countless worthwhile destinations. Most guests spend 4-7 days on the Garden Route and stay in beautiful guest houses along the way. One of them - the Villa Venusta in Hermanus - is managed by Germans since October 2014. We have made our dream come true and would like to show now what we like so much here ...
As passionate golfers we have played most of these courses and offer both daytime and complete holiday programs, for self drive or with a shuttle service between the courses. Groups up to 12 people are welcome.
